The Hare and the Tortoise
Aesop's fable “The Hare and the Tortoise”, retold for kids card by card, with its illustrations and Fabi's voice. At the end, its moral.
Fabi tells you the story-

Card 1 of 6
A challenge in the forest
The hare showed off her jumps in front of all the animals. The tortoise smiled and suggested a race to the big oak tree: she wanted to show that every step counts.
HareNobody jumps like me!
TortoiseShall we race to the big oak tree?

Card 2 of 6
The race begins!
The fox gave the signal and the hare shot off like an arrow. The tortoise moved slowly along the path, without looking at how far she had to go or how fast the others were running.
FoxReady, steady… go!
HareSee you later, tortoise!
TortoiseStep by step…

Card 3 of 6
One nap too many
With the finish line still far away, the hare lay down under a tree. “I have plenty of time,” she thought, and closed her eyes while the forest went on its way.
HareI have plenty of time… zzz

Card 4 of 6
Little by little
The tortoise crossed the stones and went around the roots, always at her own pace. When she passed the sleeping hare she didn't stop: she took another step, and then another.
TortoiseOne step, and then another.
-

Card 5 of 6
The hare wakes up
A loud cheer woke the hare. She saw the tortoise very close to the oak tree and started running, but this time her big jumps couldn't make up for the lost time.
HareOh no! The tortoise is almost there!
-

Card 6 of 6
An unforgettable finish
The tortoise reached the finish line to loud applause. The hare congratulated her and learned that talent helps, but keeping going matters even more.
FoxWell done, tortoise!
HareYou were right: every step counts.
