The Owl and the Firefly
The fable “The Owl and the Firefly”, told for kids card by card, with its illustrations and Fabi's voice. At the end, its moral.
Fabi tells you the story-

Card 1 of 6
A Tiny Light
One night under a blue sky, Owl found Firefly beside the woodland path. Her abdomen shone with a tiny golden light. He opened his large amber eyes and thought a light so small could never help anyone.
OwlWith such a tiny light, you can hardly see the path.
FireflyI cannot light up the whole wood, but I can light up what is close to me.

Card 2 of 6
The Hidden Crossing
When they reached the stream, thick mist covered the crossing. From a low branch, Owl searched for the stones leading to the far bank. However wide he opened his eyes, he could no longer see where the crossing began.
OwlI cannot see where to cross in this mist.
FireflyI am here, beside the bank.

Card 3 of 6
Learning to Listen
Firefly came closer without a sound and offered to help. Owl was about to say again that her light was not bright enough, but he stopped himself. He lowered his head to listen to his little companion.
FireflyI can show you the stones one at a time.
OwlI am listening. Tell me how we can do it.

Card 4 of 6
The First Stone
Firefly flew to the first stone in the stream. Her golden glow outlined its edge above the still water. Owl came down to the bank and walked to the start of the crossing, looking for a safe place to put his feet.
FireflyThis stone is wide and steady. Start here.
OwlNow I can see it. I will go slowly.

Card 5 of 6
One Step at a Time
The little light moved from stone to stone, always staying close to Owl. He waited until he could see each foothold before taking his next step. Together they crossed the stream calmly, while the mist still covered the rest of the wood.
OwlI cannot see the whole crossing, but now I know where to step.
FireflySeeing the next step is enough to keep us moving.

Card 6 of 6
Thank You, Little Light
On the other bank, the cosy hollow of an old oak tree was waiting for them. Beneath the blue night sky, Owl turned to Firefly. Her light was just as small as before, but now he understood how much it had helped along the way.
OwlYour little light has helped me so much. Thank you for guiding me.
FireflyI am glad we shared the journey.
