The Ant and the Grasshopper
Aesop's fable “The Ant and the Grasshopper”, retold for kids card by card, with its illustrations and Fabi's voice. At the end, its moral.
Fabi tells you the story-

The sun filled the meadow and the grasshopper sang from an ear of wheat. Down below, the ant carried a seed to her pantry while she listened to that happy tune.

Card 3 of 8
Time for both
“You can sing and save a few seeds,” she told the grasshopper. The grasshopper promised to do it the next day, but there was always a new song to practise first.

The meadow changes colour
The leaves turned golden and the flowers closed their petals. The ant made one last trip to the pantry; the grasshopper noticed that her ear of wheat no longer kept the wind away.

AntLast trip to the pantry!

Card 5 of 8

The grasshopper knocked and explained what had happened. The ant invited her in, offered her some hot soup and said: “This winter we'll find a way, together.”
GrasshopperAnt, will you help me? I'm cold and hungry.
AntCome in! We'll find a way together.
-

Card 7 of 8
Each one does her part
The grasshopper tidied the pantry and mended the little sacks while the ant cooked dinner. In the evenings she sang a soft song, and the house felt even cosier.

AntAnd I'll make dinner!

A different spring
When the flowers came back, the two of them went out to the meadow. The grasshopper saved her first seeds and then sang: she had learned to look after tomorrow without losing today's joy.
